Club Performance Team

A member of USA Swimming, Samena’s club team is a competitive year-round team that participates in sanctioned meets throughout the Greater Seattle area. The team emphasizes hard work, dedication, and personal growth through wins and losses.

Team Philosophy

Our program is built on the belief that excellence is developed through intentional coaching, consistent effort, and a lifelong love for the sport. We prioritize quality over quantity by teaching proper technique before increasing training volume or intensity. We believe that swimmers who learn to move efficiently from an early age develop the confidence, body awareness, and skills necessary to reach their full potential. We embrace the principles of the USA Swimming American Development Model (ADM), recognizing that every athlete develops at their own pace. Success is not determined solely by race results but by continual improvement in technical skills, training habits, accountability, and character. Every swimmer is valued as an individual. We challenge our athletes to pursue excellence while fostering an environment where they feel supported, encouraged, and inspired. Our responsibility extends beyond developing fast swimmers—we strive to develop confident young people who demonstrate integrity, resilience, leadership, and respect in everything they do.
