Class Descriptions

*Karate: Tuesday & Thursday, 6:30-8:30pm

Fun and energetic classes for children from 5 to 95. We combine a fun, positive training environment with expert instruction. Karate classes to help students learn discipline, listening and motor skills that will help them in every aspect of life. These skills include coordination, confidence, self-discipline and respect for authority.

Morning Yoga: Wednesday & Friday, 9:30-11:00am

Yoga enhances both your mental and physical quality of life and increases stamina, strength, and flexibility. Classes include poses (asana), breathing practices (pranayama), flow of poses (vinyasa), and brief meditation. Instructor Perlas Sapida is Yoga Alliance certified. All levels welcome, no previous experience required.

Simply Yoga: Sunday, 9:30-10:30am

Experience Yoga for the first time in this intro class, refresh your skills, or simply enjoy a base level class. Both men and women can take this “time out” to experience stress relief, more serenity, and peace of mind. These aspects combined with increased flexibility and body strength are some of the wonderful benefits of trying yoga. No experience or flexibility needed. Equipment provided.

Evening Yoga: Monday & Thursday, 6:15-7:30pm

Meditate, stretch, strengthen, and balance your body. Evening classes focus on dynamic poses with breath awareness, emphasizing function over form, to tailor this class for each individual. 

SUP Yoga, Sunday 10/6, 11/3, 12/1, 12:00-1:00pm, 

Combine yoga with stand up paddle boarding! Take your favorite yoga routines and put them on water. Build better balance, endurance, and core body strength. All levels welcome, ages 12 and up. No experience necessary, but must be able to tread water. Space is limited!

Tai Chi Rejuvenation: Saturday, 8:30-9:45am

Achieve a well-balanced body and mind through Tai Chi practice. The meditative movements improve focus, stress reduction, posture, and circulation, while gently increasing range of motion. Feel relaxed and rejuvenated! 

Pilates Primer: Wednesday, 7:00-8:00pm

Experience a sequence of flowing calisthenic movements performed slowly and with control for a full body workout! Pilates is a unique system of exercise that is designed to lengthen your body, improve you posture, and strengthen your back and abdominals. Regular practice can build long, lean muscles, while expanding body awareness and correcting imbalances.

Awareness Through Movement: Fridays, September 13 - October 25, 11:15-am-12:15pm

Learn how to move powerfully and effortlessly. Improve flexibility and coordination. Rediscover your innate capacity for graceful, efficient movement on land or in water. With verbally guided direction, you will explore slow, gentle movements with mindful attention to become more aware of your habits and tensions, and develop new ways of moving. Wear comfortable clothing, bring a beach towel to lie on.

Jazz Dance: Tuesday, 10:15-11:15am 

Have you ever wanted to dance or haven't danced for years? This class will focus on basic dance technique and have an emphasis on gaining flexibility and strength while having fun in a positive, encouraging atmosphere. The class will consist of a thorough warmup, movement across the floor and some fun choreography. 

Absolutely Core: Tuesday & Thursday, 9:30-10:15am

This 30 minute burst of abs and core will get you riled up and ready for your day. Your core may be sore for a bit, but you will be surprised how much a strong mid-section helps in all facets of your daily activity. All levels welcome.

Fat-Buster HIIT: Tuesday, 7:00-8:00pm

Be ready to enhance your functional fitness, get in shape, improve your posture, strengthen your core, melt those unwanted inches off your body, and have loads of FUN! All levels welcome!

Rise & Grind: Tuesday & Thursday, 6:30-7:15am

This 45-minute workout incorporates high-intensity cardio intervals, with longer bouts of strength and core exercises. An intermediate workout, but beginners are welcome, modifications shown.

Step Into Fitness: Monday & Wednesday, 7:00-8:00pm

A fun easy way to follow cardio step workout, followed by a weight and core session to define and strengthen. A great calorie burner with an emphasis on endurance. Step Into Fitness incorporates balance, flexibility and full range of motion exercises. Get started today!

Fit For Life: Monday & Wednesday, 5:45-6:30am 

Net to get moving? Then wake up early and start your day with movement. A variety of workouts and exercises will get your heart pumping and body moving. Fit for Life is about keeping you strong and fit for your daily life. Join us!

Muscles in Minutes: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday, 7:00-7:45am

Kick start your day with high intensity interval training (HIIT). HIIT maximizes your time and boots your metabolism for dramatic results! Focusing on agility, balance, core, and cardio-based exercises, MIM is ideal for all levels of time-crunched people looking for optimal results.

Group Cycle: Tuesday & Thursday, 5:45-6:45am

                     Saturday, 7:15-8:15am 

Start your day with this great physical and mental cardio workout! Tone your body and improve your energy level in an environment that is fun and motivating for everyone. Beginners welcome - you control the intensity!

TRX 'X'clusive:  Monday & Wednesday 9:15-10:00am 

Workout with the TRX, using total body resistance! The TRX suspended training system is effective for all fitness levels. It delivers a super efficient, all body workout that is fun, dynamic, and leverages body weight and gravity. Improve strength, balance, flexibility, and core in a unique new way. Space is limited. Pre-registration for sessions recommended.

Mommy & Baby Fitness: 10:15-11:00am* Resumes October 9

Get ready for a great all over body workout! This class incorporates cardio, strength training for arms and legs and focused abdominal work. Baby is in a front carrier for the cardio and strength training portion of class. Your baby can be incorporated into the abdominal and floor exercises. Crawlers welcome, but babies must be supervised. Class ends with a treat for baby: a gentle baby massage. Baby age: 4 weeks to 1 year. (Dads & other guardians welcome!)

Training for Teens: Wednesday, 4:00-5:00pm

Good health and fitness habits should begin early. Middle and high school ages can get in shape, or prepare for the next season of athletics. This fun and motivating class incorporates strength, conditioning, and cardio, core. A non-competitive atmosphere is designed for all fitness levels; participants will be challenged to their own abilities.

Youth Yoga: Wednesday, 5:45-6:45pm

Kids will discover what they are capable of in this fun and empowering class! Designed to engage boys and girls of all fitness levels, this class will use yoga to develop strength, flexibility, concentration, and body awareness. Besides enjoying themselves, kids will gain invaluable lifetime knowledge on how to have a healthier body, feel calmer and more focused, and have a greater sense of self.

Ageless Fitness: Monday & Thursday, 8:00-9:00am

Exercising as we age allows us to be young at heart and continue activities we love. We’ll work on balance, mobility, flexibility, core and muscle strength, and more. Discover what you can accomplish! All levels welcome.

Ageless Water Aerobics: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday, 7:45-8:30am

Combine a fun social environment with a healthy water workout! Raise your heart rate with a low impact, shallow water workout designed to improve flexibility and reduce joint pressure. Build muscle and cardio strength while moving at your own pace.

Combined Water Aerobics: Tuesday & Thursday, 7:00-7:45pm

Integrates a variety of water aerobic techniques and equipment to maximize your cardiovascular workout, build endurance, and increase flexibility. You can vary the intensity level in this low impact class that is designed for both beginners and veterans.

Deep Water Exercise: Tuesday & Thursday, 9:15-10:15am

Continual body movement at zero gravity! Strengthen and condition your body using a combination of water workout tools such as flotation belts, webbed gloves, and underwater weights. This combination of interval and endurance training targets your legs, arms, and abdominal muscles, incorporating stretching, cardiovascular, and resistance training. Equipment provided. 

Masters Swimming Workout: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday, 5:45-6:45am

These coached workouts provide a warmup, caried sets, and a cool down. Improve your endurance, strength, and overall conditioning. All levels welcome; workout adjusted for the beginner to the advanced.
